I love to read. My husband wants to send me to RA (Reader's Anonymous) because he thinks I have a problem. He just doesn't understand. He doesn't read unless he has to and even then, it's only to skim over the text.
I'm currently reading Broken Harbour by Tana French and it's pretty great. I'm a huge fan of crime novels and this fits the bill perfectly. The reviews on Goodreads were interesting and the synopsis intriguing. I wish it wasn't a 7-day fast read from the library. I haven't had enough time to read and the book is due back tomorrow. I'm going to return it after swimming lessons tonight and hope it's back on the shelf after swimming lessons tomorrow.
For a long time I didn't visit the library. I always owe them money for late fines and the kids never read the books they choose. Now there is a wide selection of DVD's and video games which is a little disappointing (not in the eyes of The Boy of course, he thinks it's great) for an organization with a focus on literature. There's a time and place for movies and video games, but I really don't think the library is one of those places.

Clothes
I hate clothes!
Well no, not really, but I hate that my body doesn't fit properly in them. My arms are too long and too big for a medium top, but a large is too big for my torso.
My thighs are too big for jeans that fit my waist and my hips are too small. Don't be a hater, my hips are small because I have some extra padding around the middle lol.
I am actually having anxiety because the arms of my shirt are compressing my biceps into sausages and I can't move my arms properly. I only have a tank top on underneath which is completely not appropriate for work, even on a Friday.
I have a plan for my lunch break. Find a comfy shirt that FITS!

Can't Win
I can't win. Maybe Batman could win. I should call Batman.
In the daily war against the clock, I'm always going to lose. Yesterday morning it was me vs. the snooze button. After work it was my bus vs rush hour traffic vs swimming lessons. On Tuesdays I don't even get to go home after work. I have to go to the pool and watch The Boy blow bubbles for 30 minutes. Then I get to dodge 20 other parents while we try to find a place to change our wet children. After tugging clothes on over a sticky, partially dry 4 year old, then I get to go home. I might even get to eat dinner when I get there. At 7pm.
Daddy has been helping. He gets the kids from daycare, feeds them and hands them off to me at the pool. I'm not really sure what he does after that, because I'm at the pool, but he keeps telling me how exhausted he is at the end of the day. Helllllooooo?!?!
I've heard the saying "there aren't enough hours in the day" but lets be honest. If there were more hours in the day, I would just have more shit to do.
Today is almost another Tuesday. The only difference is I get to go home to pick up The Girl before turning around and going back to the pool. Again. Tonight I'm leaving The Boy with Daddy and I am going to sit in the hot tub while I watch The Girl Swim.

Well hello
What is there to do when I'm bored? I can't sleep, I'm at work. Oh, I would love to sleep. I could pull a George Costanza and take a little nap under my desk...
Anyway, I'm bored. I'm at work. Pinterest and Facebook just aren't cutting it. The co-worker beside me is madly typing away, working on what I'm not sure.
I've started a few blogs. One is still up and running (blogallthepins.blogspot.com) but I haven't posted there since April. I haven't had time to try out pins, thus, no pins to blog.
I find I get bored easily when the project is too specific, so I figured I could start a blog about nothing in particular and maybe I won't get bored this time. Add to that the frequent down time I have at work and I might actually follow through with something! Concept!
